Sandtoft 2020 in four days
A full strip and re-cover finished in four days. New breathable membrane, eaves support trays and 25x50 treated battens went on before the Sandtoft 2020 tiles, with dry ridge and dry verge systems along the top and the edges. Holt Scaffolding supplied the scaffold.
Concrete tiles against the house next door
This roof joins the neighbouring house, so the detail work mattered: individual lead soakers all along the adjoining wall, lead cover flashing, new back and front plates to the chimneys and a hidden bonding gutter. The chimney was ground out, repointed and cemented, and the roof finished in large concrete tiles.
Cement fibre slates, seen from the drone
A new roof in cement fibre slates over a breathable membrane, with full dry ridge and dry verge systems and the chimney ground out and repointed. It was one of the first jobs we filmed from above with our new drone.
An extension, from the deck to the rubber
On a Heanor extension we did the whole flat roof, from the decking up to the rubber: an EPDM covering detailed around two skylight upstands ready for the glazing, with black edge trims and a matching fascia.
A kitchen roof in reclaimed tiles
A smaller one: a kitchen roof relaid in reclaimed tiles on new 25x50 treated battens, membrane and eaves trays, with a new 12-inch Code 4 lead cover flashing. In the Market Place we've also re-bedded coping stones and fitted individual lead soakers.
