We went to repoint the chimneys on this house and found the one next door close to collapsing. A new roof in Ludlow tiles over breathable membrane and 25x50 treated laths, with a dry ridge, a lead valley and new leadwork to the chimneys.
This customer's garage had an old asbestos roof and she wanted it modernised. A specialist asbestos team made it safe the day before; we then fixed 4x2 timbers to the metal frame, boarded it in 18mm OSB, glued down an EPDM rubber roof and fitted new white fascia all the way round.
In Larklands we built a brand-new hand-cut roof, then fitted VELUX windows, the ridge and a single-ply gully. Elsewhere in town we've ground out, repointed and flaunched the top of another chimney.
We're based in Ilkeston, so a roof here is the shortest trip we make. West Hallam, Kimberley and Sandiacre are all within a few miles too.
